The Beautifully Unwritten Path

Another year around the sun, and I’m here, reflecting on the unexpected beauty of it all.

When I was younger, I had a very clear picture of what my 30s would look like — I thought by 35, I’d be married, have kids, and live a peaceful, simple life. But here I am, working two jobs, taking on a postgraduate degree, and chasing dreams that feel bigger than I could have ever imagined.

It’s funny how life doesn’t always follow the script we write for it, isn’t it? I know it can feel disappointing when the path ahead doesn’t look the way we thought it would. And for those of us who feel like we’re running out of time, or like we’re getting older and still haven’t figured it all out — I want you to know, it’s okay. You’re not alone.

Life moves at its own pace, and sometimes, it feels like we’re falling behind. But here’s the truth: you are exactly where you need to be. The version of you that exists right now, in this moment, is the version you’re meant to be. There’s no “right” time, no “perfect” timeline — just your beautiful, unfolding journey.

I know it can be tempting to feel like we’re getting old and getting nowhere, but I want to remind you: growth takes time. Even when our dreams feel far off, even when the future is unclear — trust that everything is happening exactly as it’s meant to. What’s meant for you will find its way. And it’s okay if you haven’t reached everything yet. You’re not behind.
