To the Quiet Souls of Lavender Lounge
I created Lavender Lounge over a year ago.
If I'm being honest, I created it on a whim. One of those ideas that arrive in the middle of a random burst of inspiration. I was excited about it for a while, and then, as life often goes, I got distracted. Other projects came along. My attention wandered. I forgot.
Today, I opened this space again.
And to my surprise, people were here.
Not many. Just a few gentle souls writing about their days, their thoughts, their questions, their hearts.
I don't know why that moved me as much as it did.
Maybe because Lavender Lounge was never really about building a community. It was about creating a small corner of the world where people could put down the things they've been carrying for a while.
A place that didn't ask you to perform. A place that didn't need you to have everything figured out.
Just a quiet room filled with people saying, "Me too."
So if you've ever written something here, thank you.
Thank you for trusting this little space with pieces of your life.
And if you're new, welcome.
Pull up a chair. Stay for as long as you'd like.
I'm glad you found your way here.
With warmth,
Rem 💜

Thank you Rem 🫶
