The Lavender Lounge

Public·8 members

It’s the middle of the week, and I found myself at the library today. While reading, I came across a paragraph that immediately caught my attention.

Love is enough when you realize that everything else is an extension of it. Everything you seek—trust, respect, compassion, and understanding—is love in another form.

Trust is love.

Respect is love.

Communication is love.

Boundaries are love.

Effort is love.

Commitment is love.

Walking away is love.

Even in your deepest quite hours, when no one sees, that, too, is love.

All the things you think you need to make love work are not separate from it; they are love showing up in action.

To say love is not enough is to misunderstand it.

Love is the source from which everything else grows.

It is the reason you stay committed when it would be easier to leave.

It is the reason you care, you forgive, and you try again when the heart feels tired or broken.

Love does not lack anything, as everything you give, hold, and receive is an expression of it.

Love is not just enough; it is everything.

I realize that love isn't just something or a feeling —

it's something you choose and show through your actions.

And perhaps, the way you choose to love reveals who you are or says as much who you are as it does about the person you love.
